Doing 2012 SEO can completely hurt you. Some people in my industry are doing a patched up version of 2012 Search Engine Optimization.
Don’t try to do this yourself. It is extremely unlikely (but not impossible) to work within a reasonable amount of time. The common plan that you’ll find often takes company’s 2-5 years and lots of money to work…if it works at all!
