Don’t forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a stay. This site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of the best in the area. I’ve been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you will love it I’m sure!

Love this hotel. Beds are super comfortable! Decor is modern and beautiful. Location is amazing! Staff really helpful.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway to reconnect–so glad we picked Aloft. Lounged by the pool all day, hung out in the groovy lobby, played pool. Had a view of the Pioneer Plaza and the steer sculpture, so super cool! Walked to eat. Room was clean and festive. Service good, the way I like it: they don’t mess with you too much. Will do this weekend again.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a resort. This site will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This place is the best rated in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you won’t be let down.

Great place but no pool for the residents. Great professional staff. The family suit was great for group of four.

The hotel was pretty ok. I enjoyed it but wasn’t very inspired with my stay. Just next door are some phenomenal hotels and it just felt a little weak. The service was average and the room was a little worn out. Very comfortable room though. Enjoyed my stay but likely wouldn’t make a point to stay again.

My friend, Brenda, and I stayed here and had the best time. The location is perfect for a downtown experience. The hotel is beautiful on the outside, however the rooms weren’t quite as luxurious and we did not have hot water to shower with, unfortunately. But that’s entirely besides the point, I am writing this review for our valet, William. The second I got out of my car he was eager and happy to assist. William radiates kindness and empathy. William, this post is for you! Thank you for being so generous. Brenda and I are awfully glad we met you.

This is a cute hotel! I didn’t stay overnight, but did visit for the Afternoon Tea in The French Room. We arrived early, so we’re able to hang out in a beautiful area. The staff were so nice and one guy was nice enough to walk me to the ATM which would have been hard to find on my own. I needed some change, so decided to buy something in the cafe. They had some really neat items in there! I also valet parked, which was validated with the Afternoon Tea. That was a great experience as well. The Adolphus truly knows how to treat their guests.

This was a great hotel stay! Everything was clean, staff is always friendly and accommodating, location is great. We did have an issue with valet, but it was fixed quickly by Jenna.. very thankful for her. The only possible con to this hotel would be the pool situation. It is a nice, but SMALL pool and apparently anyone can buy a pass to use it. It was packed every day making it hard for actual guests to enjoy. Overall, I loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed the room service. Unfortunately, the girls working at the pool were on a weird power trip, determined to ruin people’s stay. We observed them being rude to several guests for no apparent reason. Instead of being catty, I suggest the bartender and the cocktail waitress take a trip down to the Adolphus pool. They could learn a thing or two about customer service and maybe learn how to make a decent drink. Everyone else at the hotel was great!

We stayed here for a night to see Wicked on tour. Before arriving we thought we had to pay for valet, however there is a parking garage with a walkway connected to the hotel which only charged $10 for a night rather than $31 for valet.

Our room was very nice and the layout was great. The bathroom was big and clean. We were on the 14th floor so the view was great.

The location was also perfect. Five minutes from the Music Hall at Fair Park. Also 5 minutes from the Sixth Floor museum.

We ordered room service for breakfast. We got the food quickly and it was delicious.

Our only concern was that our door did not close completely on its own. We realized our door had been slightly ajar for several hours while we were out.

Overall, would stay again!

More like a 4.5* review. What a great hotel. The historic charm combined with modern upgrades and decoration make the whole place inviting. Staff was great and very friendly – Tasha, Nate, Bryan & Jonah all really made our stay perfect! . I saw several reviews complaining about the valet but we found it great. Call ahead when you need the car and then just pull up at front and they park it for you.
Any complaints about the hotel are minor – BAD coffee from the restaurant. Was a little upset to pay $4 for drip coffee that was just brown water. Our room had 2 queen beds that were actually very comfortable for a hotel and a decent size bathroom, but it would have been nice to have a mirror in the room itself and not just the bathroom. 4 people in 1 room made it really hard to get ready at the same time. Also, when we got into our room, both toilet paper rolls had just a little on it and no spares so on the very first day we had to call for more toilet paper. All around though, would not only recommend hotel to others but gladly stay again.

Pricing is tricky (they wanted to charge $75 a day up front for incidentals, but the restaurant was closed, so there was basically nothing to charge for); the neighborhood isn’t walkable; room was motel quality (not up to the price this place costs) with a tiny, inefficient bathroom. Oh, and there was no soap in the bathroom. The only highlight was the bartender. He was charismatic and attentive. I don’t recommend staying downtown at all and not at this place in particular.

Clean and well located. We booked a room for the night at a reasonable price. They are pet friendly but charge a “pet cleaning fee” as well a parking fee. The parking garage is very low and caused damage to my over head lights. So if your truck or SUV is taller than 6’4” be careful. The rooms are clean but the hotel in general seemed a bit worn. The management team was very nice and even recommended places to see.

I was in the north tower on a higher floor facing west. The views were lovely. Bed was comfortable and I didn’t hear much noise during my stay. Room was cleaner than most and the shower worked well. Would have appreciated a real mini fridge and microwave, but the hotel food was good. The rooftop garden was nice. Hotel laundry was constantly occupied and seemed like it was being used by non-guests. I was disappointed to not receive any welcome as a Titanium Elite member upon check-in.

We stayed for a convention thing, and most of the hotel has been renovated. This is a behemoth of a hotel – 3 towers with over 30 floors on each. We stayed in the North Tower. There are 3 sets of elevators into 2 parking garages with entrances to the hotel (one by the convention center), so it’s nice to know if you are on the north or south end before parking. It took me 3 days to figure out there were parking elevators by my room. Everything about the room and the hotel in general is basic and geared to large conventions. There is one restaurant open. When you check in, there are QR codes that link to the menus. They offered $4 happy hour drinks from 4:30-5:30, and I would have gone every day if I had realized that! The food I had was good but so pricey (every bit as much as the Ritz where I went for a pedicure and lunch one day). There is not a hot tub or a spa at this hotel. The pool was a big rectangle and my 13 year old was not impressed. Our view was gorgeous- the 24th floor. It was my favorite part about our room.

The price for the room and the food I kind of think is ridiculously high. It was twice the price of the Hyatt down the street, which has higher ratings. But my son’s convention was here and I wanted him to feel good about it. But $300 a night is kind of crazy, I think. $22 for chicken & waffles; $16 for a piece of pizza at the take and go place. I ate in surrounding areas. There isn’t a lot in easy walking areas. If it was all priced in line with other hotels in the area, I think it would be more popular. The staff was all friendly and helpful.

We celebrated my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday on August 21. We finished our party at the Fairmont hotel that evening. The valet attendants were great, check in went really smooth and the rooms were clean and very accommodating. I have to give a very special shout out to Philip, the concierge to whom I worked with for several weeks leading up to our stay. He made sure the room was decorated with balloons and personalized goody bags for the four girls in the party. Thank you Philip for a job well done. This kind of service keeps bringing in customers. Our party was a hit and we will certainly be back on our next special occasion.

What a fantastic stay during my time at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I upgraded to the city view king room on a higher floor in order to take advantage of the beautiful views. I am so glad I did! Every morning I got to see the sunrise and every night I fell asleep looking at the downtown city lights. Pretty stunning atmosphere. My bed was extra comfortable and the room was huge and well cleaned.. The hotel itself is enormous! Lots of guests and events take place there. It is also conveniently connected to the Reunion Tower and you get 20% off ticket admission when you show your room key. I got to catch the sunset from up there! What a fantastic stay. Thank you!

Best bed ever. Elevators are a little confusing until you figure it out. Staff was helpful and gave us great ideas of things to see nearby. They don’t do daily housekeeping. So never got new sheets. We did have to call in a few requests for new towels and deodorant though which was promptly delivered. The place was clean and location was close to a lot of things you want to go to. Didn’t go to the fitness center but there is one. I don’t think there is a pool here, if there is I didn’t see it. There is a food court on the first floor which is convenient.

The business lounge and bar are both great. Design of elevator towers made access with many guests quite easy and wait free. However lack of pool and especially parking set up (no way to use a hotel card, pay for every entry, quite a walking distance as not attached, limited spaces so difficult to find a spot) really hurt my stay as I needed many trips from the hotel. I wish I had known parking was such as issue beforehand. Great business hotel, but managing a vehicle there was cumbersome as best.

Average at best. 2.5 hour wait time to get a room AFTER check in. They shouldn’t be overbooking this hotel when they don’t have the staff to clean rooms for the next set of visitors. I was late to my event because I was counting on being able to get ready in a hotel room that I didn’t have until 30 minutes before it was time for me to leave.

Good hotel. Well-located in downtown Dallas. Short walk from the Orange train from DFW. Rooms were comfortable. I really want a good mattress, a good shower and good towels and it more than delivers.
Staff were all friendly and provided good service. Very helpful when I needed information, etc.
The kitchen was handy. Room needed a bit of a renovation. The leather or fake leather headboard was worn and the doors needed painting. Breakfast was limited, maybe because of the low occupancy. I was there for four nights. There were some crackers on the carpet in the hotel when I checked in and still there when I checked out (smaller pieces). Surprised nobody thought to clean them up.

The Canvas Hotel staff and service were excellent. Before we even checked in Andi at the front desk answered all of my questions via text almost immediately. It’s a pet friendly with only a $50 pet fee which much less expensive than other hotels that are half as nice. The rooftop pool views are incredible. As an amateur photographer I had a great time taking photos of the downtown Dallas skyline. Bartenders Courtney and Katelyn took great care of us and made excellent drinks. Rock who works in security made an excellent impression and did a great job making sure only authorized folks had access to the rooftop pool. There’s a breakfast/lunch cafe directly across the street called Opening Bell that’s lights out good. Excellent food, coffee and they serve alcohol. The only word of caution is the DJ driven pool parties are 21 and up only and not family friendly. Everyone is partying to amazing music having a great time. Big thank you to the Canvas Hotel staff for making our Labor Day weekend a memorable one for the books!

We had an excellent stay for a few days in Dallas. Great location right across from the American Airlines Stadium. The pool was nice, not much sun but at the right hours you can definitely get some rays. I must say Alex and Spencer are amazing. Alex is so helpful and really knows the hospitality business inside & out. Thank you for making our stay amazing and showing us all of the perks that come with the BonVoy status. Spencer is the best, he is the hotel driver and can give you a great ride around town in the rolls. We prearranged pick ups and drop offs -Mr Spencer is so professional and always early. Great Location to American Airlines Center. I just don’t understand the room set up. There were curtains to separate the Shower from where the beds were. No privacy when taking a shower or getting ready. The guest attendant told me it is because it is a long term stay hotel. No where did I see that advertised. Disappointed with this hotel representing Marriott or Westin. There are no coffee machines, refrigerator or microwave. I have never seen a set up like this at any hotel and I travel a lot. It is a very clean property- I will say that. Bedding did remind me of a Westin/Marriott hotel. No privacy in the shower area is the main reason I gave this a 2 star

The highlight of this place is the window where Oswald fired his shots, which is behind glass panels. They have a replica rifle–which is not the original–on display. There are a few interesting artifacts laid about, like the cameras used to film the event. The rest of the museum is basically textbook paragraphs pasted onto fancy panels on the walls. Not worth $18. You’d be better off paying the same amount for the bar and views of Reunion Tower. Also, management at this place is still imposing a mask mandate, regardless if you are vaccinated or not. This made me upset, since it makes me wonder why I even got vaccinated in the first place if we can’t “go back to normal” at places like this? To be fair, this is the only public spot I visited in Dallas which maintains this rule. Go spend your time and money elsewhere or visit the park below for free if you are interested about the historical aspect. There is a free audio tour, which you can access via the QR codes on the placards in the park.

They were sold out couldn’t get into the museum but we walked around outside and talked to some of the street vendors. It was an interesting experience. I took 3 kids agreed 4, 13, and 17. My 17 year old was the only one who seemed interested. My 4 year old liked the water and steps for jumping.

When my friends and I decided to be tourists in our own state for a change, it was the best road trip ever! We had to add this to the list… Definitely worth the visit! I’ll never forget our visit there… It helped us understand the influence of JFK and why this might have happened… it left an impact on us.

This museum was really great! Very interactive with amazing exhibits from all over Texas. Pretty amazing seeing two specimens from my home county! Very impressive and comparable to museums in DC! It’s neat how specific it is to Texas, even including the exhibit on oil drilling. As an environmentalist I wasn’t a fan, and as a crystal lover it was disappointing to see the description of the exhibit say that there are people who value crystal for beauty or information on what resources are in the ground. Very limiting and dualistic perspective, there are many other reasons to love crystals. But that is my own opinion and doesn’t detract from the quality of the museum. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible museum for ALL ages. Well worth the entrance fee if you plan to stay awhile. We (9 adults) stayed about 4 hours and just couldn’t absorb any more informants for the day. If we lived here in Dallas, I would buy a season pass. The gems exhibit is stunning, as are the Space, Engineering w/ robots, and Human body exhibits. All levels are excellent. Be sure to visit the lower level for all the fun interactive sports activities. Try to outrun a T-Rex! Can’t say enough. Go!

Loved it. Fascinating and great exhibits. Go to the Guineas Book exhibit too. It’s in the same place but a separate entrance and charge. It’s worth it for kids though. Super clean, the bathrooms actually surprised me. The restaurant on the way out looks good as well. We didn’t eat there but would have had we been hungry.

A lot of walking to do here so make sure that you have comfortable shoes on. The way it was set up was that you can walk around in a loop from inside to outside back to outside back to inside it was really nice set up and fun to walk around the whole place. They have a large shark tank that was really cool to see. They also have an outdoor pink wind set up that was beautiful as well. They have a large restaurant indoors as well as many restaurants throughout the entire building. Some of it is outdoors so be prepared with something to protect from the sun the sun was really hot when we were here this day but overall we had an amazing time and look forward to coming back here one day when we are in the area

I loved how the entire place was designed to feel like you’re inside a cave. Twists and turns, up and down, and even bridges with bamboo railings. Nice touch! We ate at the international restaurant inside and all 4 of us loved our meals. It was way too crowded for being in the middle of a pandemic, but I think Texas has lifted their criteria and might be why they were packed. I had not expected this. However, they still required everyone to where masks and I’ve been vaccinated, which made me feel better. We visited on a Sunday, so maybe a weekday might be better for avoiding the crowds.

I can truly say some of the comments were some what right about too many birds not enough other exhibits. I’m so big on creations that I loved it. I took a lot of pics staff was pretty nice. Convenient restroom areas and my hubby and I really enjoyed it. It gets a 4 star because it wasn’t a 5 ⭐️ I’m on vacation time and money wasn’t a factor to enjoy a little life with Jehovah God creations ❤️
